Brief:

Redesign an existing business or service that you have used recently that can be improved upon.

Solution:

Sound transits redesign is an update to a visually antiquated system that strives is to improve the riding experience of its diverse users.

Inspired by the intersections and railways of Seattle, the rebrands simple and modern design creates a more easily identifiable system and clearer distribution of crucial riding information.

Logo:

I wanted to create a structured, orderly mark that is that is recognizable at drastically different scales. I took inspiration from the form of intersections along with profiles of the vehicles used to transport people across the city. The logo also works as a partially abstracted monogram when the type is absent.
