The intent of this project was to utilize typographic layouts and imagery to enhance the reading experience. Based off the tone and content of the article, I created a multi-spread layout with tailored graphics and unique typography. My article was about how funk music in Brazil is empowering youth and women. I wanted to capture the bright colors of psychedelic graphics but also reign it in to give it a more contemporary feel.
